For the next 100 years, SUISSA 22 aims at developing a model of resilient development, maximizing its heritage of social impact and combining it with an idea of innovation as the synthesis between technology, society and culture. The 300 hectares of SUISSA 22 will be developed as a laboratory for social innovation as synergy between production and local community involvement.

For the next 100 years, SUISSA 22 aims at strengthening its role as a hub for knowledge transfer and human capacity building, aiming at sustainable and joyful living – individually and as a community.

SUISSA 22 also invites artists and designer to experiment with different materials and techniques leading to limited editions. Artists and designers will be able to work with artisans and experiment with techniques and practices as well as in their own work. The presence of artists will bring new ideas and new collaborations to the fazenda.
Celebrating the year 2022: 100 Jahre Fazenda Suissa 22
In 1922 the Fazenda Suissa was founded as a pioneering enterprise, contributing to the development of several surrounding villages and towns.
1922 is also a year of big importance for the cultural independence of Brazil, as the Semana de Arte Moderna brought together a group of artists and intellectuals, it became the foundation for modernism, the influence of which is still present today in the Brazilian culture.
